Please take a second to review how you can help this year in our efforts to make little Cinderella dreams come true. Read through and take special note to how the volunteer capacities best match your personality and overall job capacity. Please remember to comment on your return email what your thoughts were as a result of your review. We look forward to your continued support, and most importantly your fellowship with the Prom Shop Project™

SCREENING REQUIREMENTS

Each volunteer will be asked to provide the following prior to being selected;

  • Brief biography (optional)
  • Resume

SPRING GIVING – CITY WIDE DRESS DROP OFF

  • Decorating Crew (come in early to help set up)
  • Tax Receipt Distribution (give out tax receipts)
  • Dress In-Take (sorting, organizing dresses and preparing them for distribution)
  • Traffic Control/Flow
  • Dress delivery to Goodwill (drop off non-prom dresses to Goodwill)  This is good for all the Prince Charmin’s in our lives!!

DRESS DISTRIBUTION – PROM SHOPS

  • Greeters (schools, hospitality and media)
  • Dressing Room Attendants
  • Check-In
  • Crowd Control
  • Dress Monitoring (maintain dress racks)

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

  • High School Correspondence (faxing flyers, following up with counselors).
  • Community Partners Outreach( Correspondence & Follow-up to specific in-kind requests)
  • Email duties- sending out mass email announcing dates and scheduling of this year’s event to community at large.

EDITING

  • Editing Flyers and other Correspondence.
  • Proof reading thank you letters, and donor related materials/publications.

MARKETING

  • Collaterals (newsletters, flyers and thank you notes)
  • Web Page Management

MEDIA RELATIONS

  • News desk correspondence (fax and follow-up).
  • Scheduling and Contact duties with media on specific event dates.
